The Stroke Recovery Association of British Columbia is a non-profit association that is committed to assisting stroke survivors and their caregivers throughout the province to improve their overall quality of life. With over 1500 members in our 39 branches throughout BC, our association focuses on community re-integration for stroke survivors: providing an encouraging and empowering atmosphere through support, education, physical and mental stimulation, and communication.

The objectives of our programs are to:

1.            Maintain and improve mobility 

2.            Maintain and improve communication for those with speech impairment

3.            Provide mental stimulation

4.            Provide an accepting environment for social interaction

5.            Provide support to caregivers

6.            Increase awareness of stroke risk and impairment after stroke
