Stroke Recovery Branches
 
A branch of the Stroke Recovery Association is a post-hospital, peer support group for stroke survivors and their families. Activities are designed to help stroke survivors live independently at home.

Stroke recovery branches offer:

  • Speech maintenance  
  • Exercise programs
  • Education on stroke prevention
  • Programs to improve memory skills
  • Social and recreational activities
  • Opportunities to develop new skills
  • Opportunities to restore dignity, self worth, independence and hope
  • Companionship and opportunities to meet new friends
  • Caregiver support and encouragement
