Sea to Sky Aphasia Camp
September 17-19, 2010

Sea to Sky Aphasia Camp is for people living with aphasia and their loved ones. We are offering an opportunity for campers to learn new ways to connect with one another while enjoying organized recreational activities in the beauty of Squamish, BC.
The Sea to Sky Aphasia Camp website is already up and running.  Interested campers must be professionally diagnosed with aphasia by a physician/speech language pathologist.  The registration deadline is July 30, 2010.   Please see website for camp details.

Are you suffering from spasticity,

A two-year spasticity management trial is underway at GF Strong.
A team of physiatrists (rehab physicians), physiotherapists, occupational therapists and nurses is helping people with spasticity, muscle tone or increased stiffness to better manage their symptoms. Have you had a recent Cerebro-Vascular Accident?
 
Researchers from the University of British Columbia Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, as well as GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre, are investigating arm and hand movements in people who have had a cerebro-vascular accident (CVA).
