The Coquitlam Stroke Recovery Branch had the their annual summer party on Friday, June 19th. The theme was "Let's Laugh" and there were 118 people in attendance, including  the mayor of Coquitlam, Maxine Wilson and Executive Director of the Stroke Recovery Association, Linda Lane-Devlin. Several other branches took part in the festivities. Representation from the following branches were present: Port Coquitlam, Shaughnessy, Killarney, Templeton, South Delta, North and South Burnaby, and Coquitlam (of course!).

Vernon Stroke Recovery members took to the water, June 19th, on a pontoon boat ride. The day was nice and the company was even better! They worked up an appetite and stopped by the Blue Heron for some tasty treats. I'm told that a good time was had by all!

April 24th, 2008
Templeton Stroke Recovery Branch traveled to White Rock to spend the day at the beach. Over 20 people hopped on the bus and spent the day in White Rock, with members from both the Burnaby Branches and the Douglas Park Branch joining in the fun. Fortunately, the weather cooperated and while the sun was shining brightly, it was still a little bit cold! Everyone enjoyed a nice lunch, some fresh air and some exercise.
